TRAILSIDE MTB MECHANICS

This MTB mechanics session in Verbier takes place directly on the trails. The goal is simple: learn the essential checks before a ride and know how to deal with common mechanical problems when you’re out in the mountains.

Before heading out, we check your bike together and prepare the essential tools and spares to carry. Then we hit the trails, with different mechanical situations introduced during the ride so you can learn in real riding conditions.

Learn the essential checks before every ride: tyres, brakes, drivetrain, bolts and the overall condition of your bike.

PACK THE ESSENTIALS

Learn what to carry in your backpack: essential tools, spare parts and repair equipment to deal with common mechanical problems in the mountains.

TRAILSIDE REPAIRS

Flat tyre, broken chain, drivetrain issue or minor adjustment: learn how to identify the problem and carry out essential repairs to get you back on the bike.

BECOME SELF-RELIANT

Understand your bike better, assess a mechanical problem and find a solution with the tools you have, so you can head into the mountains with greater confidence and independence.

LEARN IN REAL RIDING CONDITIONS

This isn’t about spending the whole session in a workshop. We ride, deal with mechanical situations and learn directly on the trails.

A practical approach to develop the right skills and know what to do when a mechanical problem happens far from the workshop, in the middle of an MTB ride.
